Help Get The Word Out

Here are some ways to help spread the word about events, Sara’s book, and - of course- the migrating monarchs:

Reach out to your local radio stations and newspaper.

Media coverage is a great way to get the word out about monarch conservation. You can tell them about Sara’s bicycle adventure and let them know she is available for interviews. Project summaries, Sara's bio, photos, official press release, and other resources are available for use on our Media Information Page.

Include a blurb or review in your organization’s newsletter.

Start from scratch or use this newsletter template to tell your subscribers about Sara’s adventure, the monarch migration, and Bicycling with Butterflies.

Tell your library.

Request Bicycling with Butterflies be added to their catalog, donate a copy, and/or suggest they use the book for a community reading program or book club.

Ask your local plant nursery, nature center, bike shop, and bookstore to carry Bicycling with Butterflies.

Give a copy to someone.

Is your neighbor curious as to why you are replacing your front yard grass with natives? Do you have a friend that doesn’t understand why you pulled over to inspect a roadside milkweed? Do your coworkers wonder why you ride your bike to work? Bicycling with Butterflies can help answer these questions!

Let your friends know about Bicycling with Butterflies and upcoming virtual events.

Rate and Review Bicycling with Butterflies

And of course! Use Your Voice!
